David Viejo

Founder at Temps

David Viejo is the founder of Temps, an open-source, self-hosted deployment platform that replaces 7 SaaS tools (Vercel, PostHog, Sentry, Pingdom, Datadog, Resend and E2B) with a single Rust binary. He published the source code on GitHub in October 2025 under the MIT and Apache 2.0 licences, shipped the first public release, v0.1.0-beta.7, in May 2026, and continues to build the project in the open. He also writes the guides and engineering posts on the Temps blog, covering deployment, observability, PostgreSQL high availability and the costs and trade-offs of self-hosting. Temps itself is free to self-host, with unlimited projects, deployments and users.
