Privacy Policy
Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 22, 2026
This policy covers temps.sh — the marketing site, documentation, dashboard, and Temps Cloud. It does not cover data handled by a self-hosted Temps instance you run on your own server: that data never reaches us, and is covered separately in Data Ownership & Privacy.
What we collect
- Account data: the email address and profile information provided when you sign in with GitHub, Google, or a magic link, so we can identify your account and secure your session.
- Billing data: for Temps Cloud, subscription and invoice details are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card number — Stripe does, under its own privacy policy.
- First-party website analytics: page views and product-usage events on temps.sh, collected with our own cookie-free analytics SDK — the same no-cookie, no-cross-site-tracking design used in the self-hosted product. No advertising pixels or third-party trackers run on this site.
- Error reports: if the temps.sh application itself errors, a stack trace and request context are sent to our error tracker so we can fix the bug. This is unrelated to error data from apps you deploy with Temps, which stays on your own instance.
- Support messages: whatever you submit through the contact form or email, so we can reply.
What we don't do
- We do not sell personal data to anyone.
- We do not run third-party advertising trackers on temps.sh.
- We do not have access to data generated by self-hosted Temps instances — analytics, session replay, logs, and backups on a self-hosted install never leave that server.
Your rights
You can request a copy of the account data we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and associated billing/support records, subject to what we're legally required to retain (e.g. invoice history). Email david@temps.sh and we'll action it directly — there's no ticket queue.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of temps.sh after a change means you accept the updated policy.
